I can understand people having a little look.
Trying to work out the game or something like that.
But as you have said the person is beside you looking at your machine while playing theres.. its is very unconfortable.
i would stop playing and just sit there watching there machine see how they like it.

You can watch, just do not stand over the other person. Be sure and congratulate a winner.
Some people like to sit with a group who talk and socialize, some do not. If someone gives you a look, keep your eyes on your own machine. And you can give out that look yourself.
People who play the slots understand that the machines make some noise when they win. That is the idea, so everyone sees someone win, and puts more money in their own machine. That is how a casino makes all that money.
It used to be that the casinos had a bank of slots arranged in circle, oval, square, and would have a employee in the middle, with a microphone. The employee would say things like, Mr. Smith from St. Louis, Mo just one a hundred dollars! People stood in line to sit at those machines. There were hourly give-aways and drawings, too.
People who watch you like that think there is some system that you use to win, and are trying to figure it out. Or they are trying to find a winning type of machine.
Just ignore them. they will lose, and go watch someone else. Or give them the look.
Good luck!

depends on the person you're watching. i would ask them if they minded first of all so no controversy is started. second some people think its bad luck for people to watch them. if they're playing then they should play because why watch someone else win money when you could be winning money.

My wife does it all the time. She is overjoyed when people win and shrieks louder than they do. They are delighted that there was a witness to their great moment and that she is drawing a crowd of people who congratulate their win.
