I think a Jack Russel and a Pomeranian would be interesting and cute--but really really REALLY hyper!!!! My husband thinks a Pitbull and Rottweiler would be cool. Or an Akita and a Pitbull. (see how we are on completely different wavelengths with this one?!)

I have a Bichon Frise Poodle Mix. I think that is the best mix. She is very cute (see photo at left). She is very mellow, smart easily trainable. Doesn't shed. She is just an all around good dog. At 15 weeks I can take her into an hour long meeting and she will sleep through the entire meeting and not make a sound. She is a perfect angel. She loves everyone and gets along with all animals.

Ceasefire Setters...

This is probably rather sad or pathetic but back when the troubles between England & Ireland were at their height, I had the idea of breeding an English Setter with an Irish Setter, and calling the resulting puppies Ceasefire Setters ... I thought that one could be presented to the Prime Minister, another to the head of the IRA, another to the Irish Premier, etc.

I just thought that the dogs might bring them together as it was seeming that nothing else would.

I would have to agree with your husband mostly because I really cannot stand Pomeranians and I'm not a fan of Jack Russells either. All are pretty dogs though.

that's as severe as asserting ALL canines would desire to be spayed/neutered this is ridiculous! canines that would desire to no longer be spayed or neutered are those shown as a manner to later in charge breeding and those used for working. in spite of the undeniable fact that maximum of those canines are in the palms of persons who comprehend what they're doing and confirm that 'injuries' do no longer take place. some in any clutter won't make the grade of their respective breeds nonetheless and while offered as pets would desire to be 'fastened'! organic bred isn't an computerized qualification for breeding and the shelters and rescue societies are inundated with examples of WHY!! Like my very own dogs > A organic bred GSD owned by utilising a puppymill breeder only in it to make funds! She wouldn't have been bred in any respect as in spite of the undeniable fact that a captivating dogs she is a few distance too mild in colouring and her hip score is only too extreme, she's handed the fault directly to her off spring, who, if in the palms of a individual like your occasion, will little doubt bypass the fault down in direction of the line!

I have a pitbull/rottweiler, and she is prescious!
I rescued her and her 5 pups, who are a mix of mom (pitt/rott) and the vet said either Doberman, OR Lab... I found homes for all but one pup- I kept her and her mom... BTW_ the mom was used as a 'fight' dog, she was all tore up when I got her, the reason they let her go ( on the street with pregnant) was because she was 'worn out'

she is my sweetest dog.
she is short and boxy like a pit, but her color is rott all the way ((:

My wife and I talked about this forever. Really, it is more important to find a dog that you both will love and what you find. A hybrid is a really good idea because they tend to have less health problems than your "pure breeds".

We got a lab/pit bull mix. He is definitely OUR dog. I like him because he has really short hair (NO GROOMING) he is only going to be about 70 lbs, has a great temperament, and is very high energy. His appetite makes him really easy to train. It is hard to say something different since I think our dog is so cool.

I think a Heinz 57 is the best mixed breed dog-they are loyal, affectionate and usually very intelligent. And all animals are beautiful.
