Ra'piste would be an excellent name, I'm sure.

To help them get along, help the old dog stay above the new in the pecking order; try things like feeding it before the other for a week or two.

Depends on what style of a puppy it's. We had a dachshund named Sam (named after a comedian booklet person named Long Sam). I had a pointer combine named Murphy, and 2 black labs named Mattie and Jack. I now have a spaniel/poodle combine named Curly. We had Sam whilst I was once a child. I had the female and male labs approximately 10 years in the past, the pointer approximately 7 years in the past and now the spaniel/poodle. Why I had such a lot of distinct puppies is an extended tale.

i think animals do things that inspire a name. If you watch her she'll do things that will make you think of a perfect name for her. As far as getting 2 dogs together, take your time and introduce them slowly. Take them out together in a neutral area, dogs are territorial. Let them get to know each other slowly. Dont force them on each other all at once. Theyll be fine.

You should name the new puppy tater tot. I think that's the best name for a cute little pup.

Dogs usually never get along at first. The older one needs to show the puppy who's house she's living in and just who is the boss.

It'll pass... pretty soon she'll start torturing the older one and then they'll get along great!

Good luck!

How about Belle - it means pretty or beautiful.

And keep an eye on them, but Fifi will get over it, she's jealous. Give her some extra love and attention.
