juice is mixed with water. Nectar is the "raw" liquid from the fruit or whatever

Nectar tends to be a little thicker than juice which often has water added to add volume.

Juice is usually squeezed and nectar is like a mashed or puree'd.

Most juices are thin liquids with a light weight texture or kind of watery. On the other hand, the nectar basically is thick liquid like with more pulp or substance in it .

I thought that juice was what you get from a fruit when you press it, but nectar is made from the puree of the fruit?

nectar has more fruit pulp in it than juice does.
