I got a kitten that is one month old. And she keeps on meowing even after i fed her kitten formula in a bottle made for kittens. And its so hard to ignore her. And she started to lick/bite almost every object, even the towel she sleeps on..it keeps following everyone and meowingg
Can anyone help me with Meowing Problems? I got the formula, i got the dry food, heck, i even got wet food..

First of all, a kitty who is only a month old should be with her mother. Since she's not, she is probably simply looking for reassurance and comfort, which her mother would be giving her at this time in her life. I'm sure she is also missing the socialization of her litter mates. I would first take her to the vet to make sure nothing is wrong with her physically. The second thing I would do is to make sure she is held and played with a lot. Kittens have so much energy that she really needs an outlet and since she has no brothers or sisters to play with, you have to make sure she gets what she needs. When she is crying for someone, you should be playing with her, not be ignoring her!

If your kitten is a Siamese, they talk. Some other cats will talk as well.
Yours has learned that meowing gets attention from you. One month is really too young to be separated from its mother. Your kitten sees you as its mother and it wants and needs attention.
"Excessive meowing can be most annoying when we are trying to sleep. Some cats have the habit of meowing and/or scratching in front of the bedroom door until we let them in. The first rule of thumb is do not respond directly to the cat’s meowing. The cat is doing this to get your attention. Getting up to see what the cat wants, shushing or yelling at the cat is the worst thing to do because you are reinforcing the undesirable behaviour by giving the cat attention. Your attention is its reward. The easiest solution is to get a pair of earplugs. If you do not respond to the cat’s meowing it will probably stop within a few days.
If that does not work, you can try some of the following tips:
· Keep your cat extra busy during your waking hours and especially in the evening with toys, extra play etc. This will help it sleep when you sleep.
· Squirting – Have a spray bottle ready and when your cat wakes you with its meowing wait behind your closed door. At the very next meow, spray the cat’s paws from under the door. The cat will learn to associate this behaviour with a squirting.
· Alarms and compressed air devices – These are products available in most pet stores that either make a loud noise or shoot compressed air when the cat passes by an area it’s not supposed to.
It is important to know that some cat breeds are just naturally more vocal than others. These breeds include the Balinese, Burmese, Cornish rex, Japanese Bobtail, Korat, Siamese, and Tonkinese."

These are all normal kitten behaviors, she's awfully young to be away from momma. The licking and biting is something she normally does with momma, too. Try wrapping a warm hot water bottle in a soft towel and make her a nice cozy secure bed. She needs to feel safe and secure, like with momma and her litter mates. If you haven't already, have her checked at the vet. Is she eating well when you do feed her? She probably just misses momma, after all, she's just a baby. Bless you for taking good care of her.

when I got my 2 kittens they were also 4 weeks old. Unless she is a feral kitten that you rescued, she's about 3 weeks too young to be away from her mother. If she's eating and going to the litter box okay, then she's just scared or lonely and wants you to hold her. Have her checked out by a vet, because someimes kittens that young have a difficult time going potty by themselves (their mothers lick their private parts to make them go)

Your kitten is trying to tell you to pick her up, love on her and play with her. Just pick her up and carry her around while you do whatever it is you are doing. Getting her a companion kitty would also help her not be lonesome. Meowing and biting is how she knows she can get your attention.

get a book on kitten care. and get her to the vet for a check.
and like said above. needs a momma.
keep her in lap whenever you can fro at least a few more weeks.
pet. pet. pet .. the pet.
just like a real baby they don't like being left alone and do far better with parents.or human substitutes that love them and hold them..often! cats are very social.
try after fed auto pickup and put in your lap even read or watch TV do soft music while you pet fro awhile... see if it stops.
oh, and expect them to want to play too. they are very creative in finding things to attack and if you don't want it to be your good stuff....
they need lots of different toys..
a kitten or puppy is, like a baby,a lot of responsibility.
meow!(good luck)

Kittens miss their mothers warmth for awhile. You and your kitten have to go through the"bonding process". Try to be patient with her for a short tme. Right now she sees you as her mother and provider. She is still young and with good care you will love her for many years.

She's just talkative and likes attention. Wait until you're reading the paper and she pounces on it when you're in the middle of a good story.
