IN DENTAL SCHOOL NOBODY EVER MENTIONED THAT AFTER AN EXTRACTION IT WAS NOT ADVISABLE TO FLY.

Changes in elevation and air pressure may affect healing.
Ask the doctor who removed the tooth - a phone call should be all you need.

There will probably be some. Be sure you are well hydrated and you may want to bring one of the portable heat pads-it seems to help. Ask the dentist about pain relief medicine-probably just some acetaminophen or ibuprofen would work.
