Well vast portions of the country are mindblowingly boring, like the prairies and the north, but if you like the outdoors there are some interesting places in British Columbia and the Rocky Mountains. Skiing is great in those areas. So is camping.

I have been to Canada several times to visit family and absolutely love it.Ottawa is the capital and has wonderful architecture and the houses of parliament, you can walk across a bridge to the city of Hull which is in the province of Quebec.Once in Hull you can practice your French or Joual as the locals call it.
Toronto is the safest city on the North American continent,it has the CN Tower with splendid views of the city and surrounding islands.Hanham island is only a 15min ferry ride from downtown,it has fab beaches and hosts a wicked Caribbean festival during the summer.Nightlife is centered around Wellesley with many bars and clubs.Niagara Falls are 45mins drive away and a trip under the falls on Maid of the Mist is a must with good views of New York state and the city of Buffalo on the other side.On the way back to Toronto stop off at one of the many vineyards in the area and pick up a bottle or three,I would recommend Inishkillen.Thunder Bay in Western Ontario is great for skiing.I hope this helps a little,I have many trips to go to discover the rest of the worlds second largest country.

Partying in Bobcaygeon can involve getting wasted and having snowball fights ( guns and knives not cool ) In summer skinny dipping and getting brewskis in a secluded lake or river. Lots of wide open spaces for frolicking year round. Also you can't imagine spring fever unless you have survived a long cold winter. Road Hockey can waste a perfectly good day too. You best come and visit us, we are generally friendly..

I am proud to be a Canadian! this is kinda a strange question to me becouse we are not really any different from the USA. We have areas where it gets real cold and areas were it is reasonably mild (admitably no Florida or Arizona). We ski and swim, dance and drink, play sports and watch movies. We have big cities and open farm land.

You can go ski, snowboarding, you can go to the clubs, there's plenty of stuff to do, some people find Canada boring, but I think you just have to find the charm :)
