My wedding is in a little over a week and the weather forecast says its gonna be below 30 degrees that day. (not typical for this region). My dress is strapless and I do have a nice wrap but I recently decided I want to try and find some nice arm length satin gloves to wear. It's not really that big a deal if I don't find any, but I think it would make the dress look a little more wintery is all (not to mention keep me warmer...our church is a little drafty and tends to be fairly cold.) With so little time I can't order them offline. I looked in the various bridal stores and all of them are way to expensive (ie David's - where I got my dress and Alfred Angelo's and a couple of the local bridal boutiques). Does anyone else know where I might find nice full length gloves for a reasonable price? Any ideas will help. - PS - I live in Central Oklahoma

You people don't read do you? 8 days till wedding here people. They won't arrive in time. I need ideas for stores that sell them, not websites. But thanks for answering the question.

Does your local mall have a fashion jewelry store like Claire's or Ardene's? At my wedding, I wanted all the girls to wear matching gloves, but I knew they were on a budget. We found nice ones at Claire's for $8 and they worked well, looked great in pictures, and didn't cost the bridesmaids a fortune.

That dress is stunning! Long gloves will make the look more formal. If that's what you want, it would be nice. Personally, I think wrist gloves would be really pretty with that dress and would create more of a spring look, also appropriate for June.

Why don't you try an antique store? You might be able to find some with real vintage charm. I know you don't want to try websites but I seem to recall that you could pay extra for express shipping. You might also want to try a craft store (Hobby Lobby, Michael's, JoAnn) they usually have a couple pair of generic gloves in their wedding section. Hope it helps!

One slight possibility might be if you have a goodwill store or Salvation Army store in your area. You never know what you can find there sometimes .... and you do need something old, something new ..... and also another possibility that may seem a bit far out but may work is a costume store ... they have all kinds of things. I hope you find them. Happy wedding day!!

Try online. Google evening gloves and see what comes up. You can order online and they'll be mailed to you. Can get some good deals that way!

>If you live in a rural area you might contact one of the artificial breeding services (that work with livestock). They all use arm-length gloves that are white, probably very inexpensive and one size fits all.<
