yeah so...would anything bad happen to my stomach?

It won't hurt you unless you do it regularly. Do eat something and drink some extra water if you're going to do this as the advil will give you tummy problems. To avoid this, I take two advil wait two hours and then take two tylenol. It really works wonders on my headaches and I don't have to worry so much about an upset stomach.

Advil is rough on the stomach and the liver. Eat a piece of bread when u take it and u should be fine. But the liver is another story. Advil is excreted through the liver, so taking 3 or even 2 at a time for an extended time can lead to serious liver damage. Also remember that Advil and Motrin both contain ibroufen

If you took it on an empty stomach, could cause nausea and upset stomach. The old Motrin prescription strength was 800 mg and the OTC ibuprofen is 200 mg each. Most people take 3-4 for a loading dose, then 2 every four hours.

You will be fine if you only took one extra. Just be sure not to take anymore until the next recommended dosage, and if it would make you feel better, only take 1. However, I do this all the time and nothing bad has ever happened to me :)

Not if you did it just one time, but over time it can burn your stomache, especially when you wake in the morning. I don't take it anymore because of that.
