I use tampax pearl, I like the braid, with a back up super thin pantyliner. They make them so thin now you don't notice they are there and they make them in thong shape if that's necessary. The liner protects you just in case there is a leak and gives you time to take care of business without worrying.

Okies, a little secret for ya lol ....
Instead of wearing a pad and a tampon, wear a tampon and one of those bladder control problem pads, like Depends. They are generally longer so cover more area.
Yeah, I know it will be like walking with a pillow between your legs but you won't bleed through, they are more absorbent than regular menstrual pads.
Another choice are the post-partum pads made for women just after having a baby. Or the overnights might work too.

Wear a tampon and a pad, also, double up on underwear (if you really think it's nessacary) and wear a slip under your skirt. I hope you don't bleed through!

God, this is one of those nightmare scenarios. It depends on what you're wearing, but... Ahh, I'm really not the right person to be answering this, but my heart goes out to you! I hope everything goes well. Good luck!
