I have never heard of that, doesn't seem legal.

No, they can't. To my understanding only the sec. of state can for excessive unpaid parking tickets, The collection agency is only bluffing you. Tell them that your are going to report them to the attorney general office. That ought to scare them.

no they cant and its illegal for them to say they can call next time they call tell them your going to report them if they continue to threaten you
