I am not really fond of Before You Know It (by the way, the site is http://ww.byki.com ). I'd suggest http://www.eslpod.com . I like that one.

Find podcasts about your favorite subject (mp3 files of radio shows, etc.) This will give you two interests in the podcast, and the interest will make it easier to stay motivated to listen.

www.before you know it.com. is a good site. I am using it to learn Italian.you can learn any language from it.
