From black-in-white to digital... What can we expect next? In a 50 years time?

We'll be fondly looking at the pictures taken before the advent of digital cameras wondering what happened to all those pictures that got deleted from that old computer grand dad used to have.

I personally hope that the photograph will be moving in the future just like the one in Harry Potter. Since we can capture movement by using camcorder now, it is not impossible that we can see someone blinking his eyes or flashing a smile repeatedly to you in a photograph. Moreover, we might be able to smell the fragrance of food if we capture it!!

Nostalgia will set in and photographers will want to imitate the past greats and go back to the dark-room and safe-lights. Gadgetry will be for the ordinary folks.
The snobs will go back to developer etc.
