Well depending on your MOS and where you want to go, yes you can change. The Air Force does not want anymore GED enlistees and may want or take only some college; the Navy is not quite as bad but getting there. (The safest do nothing branches) The Corp and Army are pretty much interchangeable. Here is the site where you can change. http://www.goarmy.com/btg/index.jsp

There is a progran called Blue to Green where you can switch from either the Navy or Air Force to the Army, otherwise you would have to wait the full enlistment before you could transfer branches.

Sure you can, when i was in the Marines we had guys that finished there duty with another service branch and joined us in boot camp.from what i understand if you were in the Marine corp. You didn't have to boot camp for the other services. You have to complete your obligation before you can transfer such as if you join for three years with the Marines you have to complete that before going to another branch/Army/Navy/Air force. If i had to go again it would be the Air force.

Blue to Green allows Navy and AF personnel to transfer directly to the Army or Marines with no break in service, once thier initial contract is up. .

The AF currently is not accepting interservice transfers or PS personnel, and the Navy is only accepting certain job specialties.

.the answer is yes. military service today is looking for good people with skills are needed in other branches. i am a Vietnam vet and remember members changing branches after their commitment. today would mean a signing bonus and your time in service will continue for retirement purposes. any additional training by additional branches would be a plus in civilian work

You can, but often times you will lose a pay grade. Not too mention you might have to go to boot camp/technical training again.
