It depends. Get a list of the furnishing supplied, and see what isn't there. When I lived in a furnished apartment in Arabia, it was furnished with everything: not only tables and chairs and a TV, but dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, linens -- everything except food and my own clothes. You don't need any furnature, but you need dishes, pots & pans, sheets, cleaning supplies, light bulbs, garbage bags, and personal cleansing materials.
