The electric company would say if I explained to them I couldnt pay my bill beacause a gang of leprechuans came in my house and said due to global warming there is a sever rainbow shortage and they have a huge deficet and stole my money after roughing me up a bit ?

Lol, well, I don't think they would call it a " viable excuse" No electric company I'm aware of acknowledge the existence of Leprechauns.
