im 13 and ive wanted to fly a small craft for awhile. my parents knew and my mom usd to take flying lessons. they bought me 2 half hour lessons, but together they were $120 each(plane rental included) is there any where in New Jersey that i can get cheaper flying lessons?

That is about right. I payed $100 an hour for the plane and $40 for the instructor.

I'm afraid the chances are bleak. My cousin in law is a co-pilot for Cathay Pacific and he only got all of his licenses done a few years ago, and he's 28. Problem is having to make up your flight hours if you intend to get a license, and even then you have to pay this yearly on top of the plane rental.
My bf who lives in the UK joined the RAF to become a pilot since he can't afford the costs on his own. But he intends to leave and learn to fly commercial liners instead. So I suppose thats one way of doing it.
