have they all died, because I wonder if there are any old school guys like me out there still. Society seems to breed one night standers / players who treat women like s*** and only want the one thing. Sure be horny but are people these days sex mad and has the art of Romance died?

There are still romantics out there I have seen a few, and it all depends on the women they meet, if they meet a woman who is not a lady, men only reciprocate on what they see and get, but if they feel that the lady is not materialistic and very secure of herself, the mens romantic side comes out. People this day in age suffer from identity crisis, due to the competetion they face, they wanted so much to belong and be noticed, so they tend do to whatever comes to mind just for the heck of it.

It seems that almost everyone is sex mad these days. If only there were more romantics out there. Im a romantic myself. I think a bit of romance adds all that extra sparkle.

Keep the romance alive, dont let it die!!

i think society is largely to blame for this travesty. it seems like you said people are so focused on sex, naked bodies, and everything that shouldn't be important in life. unfortunately this has a negative effect on everything such as children, morals (or lack there of), etc. there are still some guys who understand good old fashioned romance. i thankfully have found one of them in the vast sea of "male whores." i often wonder about the future and can only hope to imagine a world that can get back to what really matters and better morals and family values... and good old fashioned romance!!!!

Yeah there are some of us still left...I have to agree with you, guys like us who believe in treating a woman like a lady end up with the short end of the stick...Seems women get burned one time to many and thats it for the real men out here...Nothing wrong with being a badboy, the only thing is don't be an a**hole too....Women have to realize they can have it both ways and not get burned in the process...

i completely go with what you say there is a scarce of romance in the world! what happen to roses and true love and love poems and long walks on the beach! the world needs some romantic stimulation.

Romantics still live on but not as great. Myself am a Romantic. I try not to be the sterotypical guy. I am the gentleman that I try to be. Romantics do live.

HEY!

What's wrong with one night stands? They're a lot of fun when you meet a really hot, young lady at a club.

So stop hatin'.

I agree. There are very few decent guys out there anymore. Luckily I married one of them. Don't fret, my friend, you will find a woman to appreciate and who will appreciate you.
Don't give up hope!
