Tell her that - "I really like you, and would like to date you. I understand that you're not ready for anything right now, and I'm willing to deal with that. But when you're ready to start seeing people again, maybe you could call me?"
Another option would be to try group outings or casual settings, and slowly... like a cup of coffee one week, then a couple weeks later, maybe coffee and pie?
At the same time, you can't put your life on hold for her. Let her know that you're interested, and then the ball's in her court. But don't take yourself out of the game - she might meet someone else, you might meet someone else, or (and I hope this isn't true, but it has to be said) she could just be saying that to you because she's not interested, bnut doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
The best you can do is be honest, and let her decide from there.

JT, leave well enough alone! She told you flat out that she's not ready and there is no approach that you can take to change that. Respect her decision and accept that she's just the chic that works at the gym. Maybe when she is ready for a BF she'll come looking for you. BTW, how long have you known her? I mean are we talking just a few weeks, months, or years?

first you need to just talk to her don't mention your self at all then slowly start talking about the things you want her to know about you. sooner or later you can ask questions about her and she will feel comtrouble answering them. she will let you know if she want you to be her boyfriend or not. THE NUMBER ONE THING WOMEN DONT LIKE DURING A RELATIONSHIP IS BEING PUSHED INTO DOING SOMETHING.

It sounds to me like she is seriously just blowing you off and doesn't want to even to get to know you. But giving her the benefit of the doubt, I would wait a little while and see if anything changes. If not move on.

huh? you lost me after school, homework, and work......that was way confusing! leave her be, she apparently doesn't want to be your gf. she's just not that interested in you. if you were really her type she totally would of jumped at the chance, i know...i am a girl.

Dude sounds like she isn't into you. Just talk casual to her. Don't force her to have a conversation with you, man, that isn't cool.
