Depends on how many people are being naturalized at that time. In some big cities where hundreds gather, just getting everyone seated takes almost as long as the ceremony itself. Also depending on the no. of participants, sometimes each participant is sworn and given the certificate individually, or everything is done as a group. Also if the judges are late, it would take longer. The ceremony itself could take up to an hour.

You go before a judge and take the oath and you're done it's not long.
