first i think maybe you should start talking stuff that happen in your classes....together...like funny stuf...make the person laugh. a little then step by step try getting into deeper conversations as you get more comfortable.

you shouldnt need to...small talk is a waste of time used by people who dont really like each other. my guess is ur avoiding each other cause your embarrassed people at school will think your an item. carry on a conversation your were having online, failing that you know what interests you both have so why not arrange a more privat place to meet at school so that your not a focus for everybodies attention...good luck.

A lot of people are more comfortable talking online than in person; it gives them the illusion of distance. To start some real small talk, there's always the standard, "How's it going? How's class?" that sort of thing.
Good luck!

One of you has to break the ice! Looks like he is shy. it would be nice if he would do it but it might be all on you. If one of you don't say something it will never be more than it is right now. It will eventually get boring and you won't even talk online anymore. Just plan to say something to him, you have time to think of something that won't sound stupid. Do it pretty soon.

Omg! That is so freaking weird! The same exact thing is happening to me! He sits at my table at lunch and we never talk, but we talk online all the time! I just went up to him one day and just asked him about himself. Start small.

you need to either break up or talk!! if you dont talk whats the point?! start out with a "hey" and if no convorsation starts up.. just say something like "so what are you doing today" or "man that science homework is really hard.. do you get it?" things will heat up.. and hopefully you will eventually get more comfortable with her.

I understand you...totally...
I have the same problem with some people...
but it is related to short messages...
From my experience, what is important is to start talking, and then conversation will develop naturally...
So, you are at school, maybe you can ask her about how exam or quiz went... Or ask her to go somwhere.... just ask, i am sure she will say yes! And you will discuss where to go, what to do..then what are your common interests...blah blah...and ta-da! Here we go! CONVERSATION...in real life ! ;)

its normal for lots of persons, its harder to talk face to face, and the only way to get over it is to do it, before you see him or her again, think up some stuff to talk about, if you know what she is interested in than she will be impressed and talk alot more.

You can begin by learning to write properly. Who do you expect anybody to understand those unconnected words that you just wrote? Pleeeeeeeeeeease. Study more and stop thinking about sex!!!!

easy! just talk to him like you do online! you're just feeling bashful because you'll be talking to him face to face. but just go for it! I'm sure he'll be happy you did!
Good Luck With everything.
