It dosen't matter how mature you are. There are people out there that you could trust that would hurt you. Thee is a reason for her decissin. My two girls tell me that we are to strict on them. Guess what? I want my kids around. If they would have dated without our permission they wouldn't have seen a guy until they were 18. My youngest daughter is 16 no and the other daughter is 17. She went into the military and she knew that we would not approve of her dating if she was 16 in there. So now she is glad that we made her wait. She is learning what real life is all about. So don't go against your mothers decission. She knows more than you. Just trust her. You would do the same with your daughters.

Its different when you are "going out" with some one, and you are "dating" someone. When you are dating someone, that's when you actual go on dates. You go places with the guy. You and him. There is no point in arguing with your mom because you can "hang out" with a guy you like and you two can decide you are "going out" because you liked each other. Your mom can't do anything. Since you are not 16, you can not drive. So there isn't too much to worry about. Just "hang out" and have him over for dinner introduce him as your cute guy friend. Tell her you are not going on dates with him, you just think he's cute, and he is your friend.

My parents had the same rule for me. I was not happy about it at all. But, it was the right rule. Looking back on it, I realize I was not ready to deal with everything that comes along with dating. It doesn't get any easier sometimes...lol
Take it slow and enjoy things while you can. If there is someone that you are interested in....if it is meant to be it will be...even if it is not right now.
I wish I would have listened to my Mom's advice and rules on everything.
Good luck!!

Your mother is being unreasonable, but she IS your mother and you need to do what she says. Discuss her particular objections, and see if she can go along with double-dating or group activities. Use your imagination. If all else fails, bide your time until you're 18. Even then, although you are no longer under her legal control, if you are continuing to live at home you will have to follow house rules.

You llive UNDER your Mom's roof and she pays YOUR bills! You have to abide by HER rules. Your spelling is awful and I would worry about that before I would go around telling everyone how utterly mature you are. You don't sound so in the least.

Tell her that you have already "gone out" with people but you will respect her wishes because it's not that big of a deal anyway. Then respect her wishes and don't "go out" with anyone untill you are 16.

Listen to your Mom. Later on you'll understand but for right now you need to trust her and her judgement. If you do you will know exactly what she is talking about later on in life. It's all about trust. If you trust your Mom then do as she asks. You'll be glad you did.

Sorry, but you're not mature enough. You need to respect your mother's wishes. She knows what's best for you.
