He has more money than I do but I was thinking pebble beach weekend and inviting his best friend to come along for the game so he has someone to play with and then giving him a romantic 2 nights with just him and I with lots of sex and nice dinners.

Sound good. He should appericate you for the efforts you put into something. If you do so much to make his b-day a great day and in end you make him happy, that's a good thing.
Oh also give him a cigar, one made by Cohiba is the best :-)

Why not instead of inviting his friend.. just u 2 though... if you arent a good golfer... ask him to help.. he'll feel like is needed and it allows for you guys to spend more time together and bond.

a trip to dayton ohio to meet the stars on the annual bogey busters golf tourney. easy to do and lots of fun.
