Get child support, just as much as he deserves visitation rights for being the father, he deserves to financially be responsible for his child. If you live in the United States, this wont is hard to do, but as much as it hurts, don’t put this hatred upon your child. let him have a father, it is not the child's fault for what occurred and it should be able to establish a relationship with his father or else in the long run it can turn against you for not allowing the child to do so.

Alls you have to do is go to family court & request a paternity test. From that point, doesn't matter what he wants to sign. Once the results prove he is the father, then he will have to pay. No one should be able to walk away from paying, this is his child he needs to help support. As far as not letting him see the child. That could do more damage to the child, its not worth it keeping him from your son.

It's not about you and it's not about him. Don't take your frustration and contempt towards the man out through your child. You are using the kid as leverage to vent your own emotions. That isn't fair to the kid. The child should have the chance to get to know his father and just to HAVE a father! Let the kid decide in his own time if his father is a father worth having. You owe that to your child.

You can get a court ordered paternity test to prove he is the father so he will have to pay child support.
But, not letteing him see his child is called parental alienation. Thats mean.
If you can prove he is an unfit father in the courts eyes you may be able to set up supervised visits.

He shouldnt KEEP your child but he is still entitled to see (visit) with his child. Also, whether or not he signs a birth certificate he can be made to pay child support through DNA testing

I would say dont make him sign it, there are plenty of women who do it alone. My sister did for 3 years with the help of my mom and I. Be strong u dont want or need an a whole like that in u or ur sons life. you'll be better with out it and someday soon you'll find someone who loves u and your child just as he would his! move on and start your life with a positive note!

What ever you do don't let your kids father push into stuff. You are doing the right thing. After all it is fair game. He cheated,he's afraid, won't get a job...and yet you are the one feeling guilty. Until he does what he is supposed to i don't think he even deserves to see his child.Sounds like to me he doesn't care.

DNA tesy or simple blood test will determine if he is the father, than he will have to pay legally. Or at least resume responsibility if thats what you want.

He is the blood father . his real father..
He has rights because of being the Father.
it is not up to . It is up to the court. And up to his son.
