I thought I was paying a compliment to my girlfriend by telling her "For a fat person you sure don't sweat much" She got very angry,but we finally made up.

This is a terrible compliment not because of the superficial hurt but the emotional hurt that could lead to drastic damages

Good God ~ No gal wants to be called "FAT" (even if it may be true) unless U spell it out for her as "PHAT" as in "Pretty Hot And Tempting".
