Don't starve yourself cause your stomach won't be able to stand it when you start loading up on the food.
Eat small meals the day or days before you're going.
When you get there, eat slowly and start with veggies. Save the carbs and meat for later.
Also, don't drink while you're eating. If you get thirsty, try a bit of soup to wet your whistle.

Eat only the food that you like most in small portions and avoid eating fried rice, pasta or bread. Eat fresh seafood as appetizer, make use of time (like 2 hours or three hours), rest a bit, eat a bit, do not drink soft drinks but warm water or wine, the gas would fill you up quicker.
When you get real full, stop eating, it isn't worth to get sick.

I agree with many of these postings....Make sure you have had a couple of good long trips to the toilet...maybe drink a strong cup of Senna tea to help "move" things down and out.
Eat pop tarts for breakfast...get the sugar high and the carb crash right before your party.
Smoke some MJ and whet your appetite with a few sips of a drink.
Don't forget to wear your best gripper-bottom shoes for racing up and past all the old people who will be in your way.
Get the shrimp first...then anything with a pastry because it will be soggy later. Grab a few desserts too because other, less enthusiastic diners, will be done with their main courses way before you will. You don't want them to beat you to the cherry pie, do you?

Eat a very small breakfast, perhaps just an apple or something, and another very small snack about mid morning then nothing else, this way you'll be starving by the time you go to the buffet! i did this yesterday when i went to my nan's for dinner and for a change i was able to eat the 11 veg roast she laid in front of me and a meringue for dessert!

Eat a normal breakfast, and don't try to get as much food into you at the buffet, as you can.
Just because it is available for you, it will not be doing you any good to over eat, so eating too much is NOT better value.
Have a pleasant meal, hopefully with stimulating company, it is not a competition to see who can get the most food down their throats, and whatever else you do, drink plenty of water.

How about NOT going to an all-you-can-eat buffet tomorrow? That's OBVIOUSLY not good for your health, and your thinking is what contributes to the obesity of America. Why not a regular meal for the same price? You're not still hungry after going to Chili's to eat ONE plate of food, are you? If that gets you full, why do you think you are obligated to cram down THREE plates into your stomach? Eat until you're full, and eat slowly. It takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain it's full. Bring a friend... chat while you're eating to waste time. You know, unless you actually WANT stomach pains later on. Seriously, it's only seven-eight bucks, which is what the regular meal at a restaurant costs. ONE plate *IS* "getting your money's worth," okay?

Have a very light breakfast first thing in the morning, and just drink water. Don't starve yourself - you'll just fill up too quick.

dont miss breakfast, this slows down your metabolism
eat slowly
wear loose trousers
drink wine not water
if the restaurant is too hot ask them to turn the air conditioning down as sweating affects your appetite.
start with small portions and keep it that way so as not to peak too soon....ENJOY!!

No, you've got to starve yourself as much as you can so you have enough room for the challenge. Works for me, but we're all different, so that may not suit you.
Happy eating!!!
