My left wrist is under a lot of pain during my workouts, and I continue to have a dull pain during the next few days. The more I workout, the more pain I experience on a day to day basis. This pain in my left wrist is stopping me from doing workouts everyday, which is what I want to do.

I'm lifting 8kg (17.64lbs) per dumbell, which I usually do about 8 repititions on the harder exercises and as much as 25 repititions on the easier exercises. I ensure that I keep good form throughout my sets, although I lift alone so it may be difficult to evaluate myself. The pain in my left wrist is especially evident when I do hammer curls, which may give you a good idea about the muscle which is responsible for the pain. Does anyone else have this problem?

What can I do to get rid of this pain. I won't simply dull the pain with medication to get through my workouts, this isn't a real solution! Are there exercises I can do to strengthen my wrist? Equipment (gloves) to give me support?

There are a couple of possibilities here. One is that you have strained or sprained your wrist and continued use is preventing it from healing. The other is that you are displaying early symptoms of tendinitis.
Try cutting out the left lifts for a few days and see if that helps at all. If it's a sprain, letting it rest will help. If it's tendinitis, you may have to get professional help with it.

Ask a personal trainer show you proper form and technique, also have him or her show you exercises to strengthen your wrists. 25 reps seems a bit much, you should be doing 3 sets of 10-12 reps with a brief rest in between sets.

Meanwhile, you should alternate ice and heat on your wrists and take an OTC anti-inflamatory such as iburpophen. Massage therapy (yes they work on hands too) is another alternative.

You may be twisting your wrist as you lift, video tape your work outs to study your form. Don't do the same type of exercises two days in a row, you have to give the muscles time to recooperate. Wear wrist supports, if the pain keeps up, have it checked, you may have carpel tunnel.

Yes. In addition to wrist wraps, I trust that you know enough to NOT do your workouts everyday. Every other day is the most efficient way to workout.
You can push youself til it hurts and Stop.
Then, you have a full day for recovery.
Repeat

Train with medicine balls. The balls won't but pressure on your wrist and you do a ton of exercises with them. Using medicine balls may also be something different if you have doing the same workout for awhile.

Yeah I tried that before, chances are your lifting the dumbells the wrong way or your over doing it. I recommend you stay away from the dumbells for awhile and give your joints time to heal and do other excercises for the mean time.
