of their manhood or something if they don't win every single argument? Why do they always have to prove they are smarter, tougher, richer, more powerful? To me this just proves they're worried about it not being true. Mature people are more confident, gracious and peaceful about who and what they're strengths are.

Male groups have this intense competition called "race for manhood", which makes it unforgivable for a man to relax......., he must continously prove that he is a man, he must strive to stay ahead or he will be trampled upon, lose dignity, respect and his social standing as a man.

Heterosexualised men (that is men who don't live in 'male herds', and especially if they have grown up with females rather than with males, and who are into relationships with women), however, tend to be much more easy going and relaxed. They don't have this constant pressure to 'prove' themselves.

That is probably one of the reasons why many men prefer female company to male.

i dont think its a guy thing my ex was the same way she always thought she was right even if she was dead wrong but still wouldn't admit she was so i dont know . by the way she was more wrong than she was right
