Hair naturally falls out. You can lose up to 100 hair follicles every day and its due to the cycle of the life of the follicle. All hair goes through it.
Of its coming out in clumps, or too much is coming out when you brush then seek help from your doctor. It can mean an underlying health condition. But naturally as i said before u can lose quite a few in a normal day. It happens to me too and my head of hair is fine.

There could be many different reasons to why your hair would fall out. It could be genetics, or it could be something that you have done to stress your hair or your body.
Stress itself is a very bad thing for your body. If you have had a lot of stress lately, this could be the culprit.
Other things could be allergic reactions to haircare products or dyes/relaxers. Try to pinpoint if you have started any new product the same time your hair began falling out.
Or if you have just had a drastic chemical treatment to your hair, this could have stressed or "fried" your hair, causing dramatic breakage.
Or, like stated previously, it could just be genetics. Ask your family if there is a history of hair loss. This could be something that you can't prevent, but if you believe that this is your problem, you should visit a doctor for more options.

Everyone loses at least 40-120 strands of hair per day, just thought I'd let you know that little fact lol. Anyway, usually, people that use a lot of hair products, or apply a lot of heat to their hair tend to lose more hair. If you're really worried, ask your doctor, experts say you really only need to worry if you can see your scalp through your hair.

I don't have a solution, but my hair was falling out when I was super stressed out. I'm not that stressed any more so it's gotten better.

If it is more than the usual amount (100-200) that everybody loses, perhaps you could see a doc about your thyroid gland...

It could be that you need to trim your hair(that;s what happens to my 14 yr old), or it could be a mediacal problem that has to do with stress.
