that depends. what are you doing there when there? talking it up is wasted time. you should ask about your program vs. goals. to reduce time, as my members always like to spend 1 hr - 1hr 20 min holding up cardio equipment, do 40 minutes at high intensity .. build up by doing an interval program (listed on most commercial machines). 1 1/2 hours or more and you really should be evaluating why? Don't give up the gym though... you should be proud to be committed!

I think working out at the gym for no more than 90 minutes 4 times a week is plenty. Start with cardio to warm-up , then strength training. Be sure to alternate upper and lower body exercises . This gives your the rest you require in between strength workouts

2 hours isn't an unreasonable volume of time for a exercising consultation. you will desire to artwork out for 4 hours and gain little or no if all you probably did became treadmill at 3 mph for 4 hours (no offense to those human beings, yet gimme a destroy!). without understanding greater appropriate to the point of intensity of your exercising consultation, i'd only would desire to anticipate that because of the fact you're nicely sufficient to have the potential to ask if it became too long... it wasn't.

well it depends what you do. like weight lifting and other stuff like that should be no longer than 10 mins. or longer with breaks. just going on the treadmill for 30 mins is fine. too long is when you dont take a break.

I use to workout on the treadmill-jogging-for 2 hours at one time. I have to force myself to stop now after one hour.

Depends on the kind of workout.
If all you do is lifting weights, then wekly 6 hours should suffice.

I think that it would be different with each person.
I don't think that an older person would stay as long as a younger person.
