I was 8 years old when I was saved by the neighborhood Wino, named Johnny. He used to get wasted and sit in the archway of a building. He liked kids though and always gave out nickels to us .
One day I saw him across the street and ran in front of a car .
I was struck but not badly hurt . Johnny got up and pulled me to the curb before I could get hit again .My neighbor saw what happened and went and got my parents.None the less I never got the nickel or the chance to thank Johnny .I was never allowed to Leave the block after that .
So Thanks Johnny for Saving me .

When I was 13 I bought my first copy of The Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey.
Soon after opening it I realised that I am a Satanist. There is only one true God and He isn't up in a heaven, He is you. The moment I realised this, I became a better person.
There is no better feeling then to be Saved by yourself.
You are your own God.

Mav turned to God on Sept 11, 2001.
Mav got 'saved' as a child, but didn't even try to live the way God wanted her to.
After that it took time for Mav to fully change her life, and she still isn't there.

I was young enough that I don't remember the exact day or time. I just know that I wanted Jesus in my heart (I think I'd learned about it in Sunday School), and one day, I think during the time I was supposed to be napping, I got out of bed, knelt, and prayed. Later, I prayed again, not understanding how Jesus could stay in my heart if someone else prayed for Him in their heart as well. Later, when I truly understood what being a Christian was, I prayed one more time with my dad, because I wanted to be sure that I really had accepted Him.
Now I know that I needn't have prayed more than once, but I don't regret the spiritual growth I experienced as a young child.

I was brought up a christian and along the way as I grew older I rebelled and then altogether I met someone who introduced me to the occult and satanism and everything evil you could imagine. The evil drew me in and I was finding power in something that was only decieving me and in the end I lost so much from it. Won't get into detail but I will say depression hit hard and life was not everything I wanted....I felt the path I was going on was going nowhere and the evil in my life was overpowering.
I turned back to God one day on the way home from my job and I promised him I would never turn away again if he would not forsake me because I did love him and I asked for his forgivness. That same day I took every single book involved with the occult and satan and I tore them to pieces I destroyed the lies they contained.
So now here I am still loving God with all my heart and I won't say life was like a sunny rainbow after wards ... there are still bumps along the way but thats Gods trials and tribulations for us.
Now I know the truth With God on my side..who can be against me? NO ONE!
to Devilman --the satanic bible is a lie Anton levey preaches about Self-Indulgence and how we have every right to it. That is a lie. We don't live for ourselves and we are not our own Gods. You know very little about what you are holding on to as the truth I was there once and I pray that your eyes are opened before its too late.

I got saved about 4 months ago and my life has changed for the better dramatically. I feel better about myself and my marriage (even though my husband is not a Christian but I am working on him). I feel that life is going a lot smoother too. And it feels good to tell people about God.

no one is guaranteed of being saved. that is false doctrine and something we all as christians must understand. being born again doesn't guarantee your salvation, it is an on going process until you die.

Haha- You know what is funny- I remember as a child asking the Lord to come into my life several times- as a child you dont quite understand that God hears you the first time and you are sealed when you truly do want to believe in Him and repent. As I got older I felt the Holy Spirit moving in my life several times- Convicting me about sin when I was in sin- I strongly felt convicted many times- and was glad I did! But it wasnt until I got older that I truly came to understand God's word more- moving from the milk to the meat- And I remember how happy and joyful I was when I would learn something new by studying the Bible. The gospel made more sense to me as I got older....and I had a desire to share it with others. When I was a child- I remember being scared to ever tell anyone about Jesus- I thought I would not know what to say. But through the years, God has really taught me and made me more bold- especially online- I need to be more bold though in real life- with people face to face. But when you really start to be fed the truth more and more by God- you really become on fire for Him. I LOVE that feeling! I want to feel like that every single day~
