It sounds like floaters. If it is, then you have nothing to worry about. Usually you'll notice them if you are looking at a white board or the sky. Some people have lots, some people have a few, and some people never notice them.
If you're interested, floaters are caused from protein clumps in the jelly ("vitreous" in fancy talk) on the inside of your eye. As you move your eyes, they slosh around and cast a shadow on your retina, which is what you can see. If you hold your eyes really still, you'll notice they slow down and eventually disappear.
Another thing that is a possibility are "ocular migraines." I would recommend that you get your eyes checked by your family eye doctor just to be on the safe side.

You might see floaters, which float around in your eye, and they can seems like little bugs flying by. Go and have your eyes checked, although there's no cure for floaters, but the doc might have some drops that will help.
I have the same thing happen to me at times and I have talked about them to the doctor, trust me.

I agree you should go and have your eyes checked.
I work for an optometrist and some patients come in saying that they see what you are explaining right now. Sometimes they are normal or it might be that you need glasses.
Do not wait go as soon as possible your eyes are important.

Two possibilities... one is that you could be suffering from an eye problem which can cause 'shapes' to 'float' across your eye.
If they appear more real than that you have having hallucinations. Go and see a doctor.
