You are wasting yearsssss on someone who is not reciprocating ? You might have missed a real keeper while you were watching that dead horse . . .
Get on with life, there are too many fun guys . . . get going !

Well you must consider who this person is in relation to you.
Do you pal around together? Do you help him with classwork or personal affairs. Do you just say hi in the halls?

Does he show in someway that he likes you, wants to get together with you?
If there is no relationship there is no reason he would want to get together and you'd get another no.
There's a book out in the stores called "He's Just Not Into You" where if he doesn't ask you out even if you do talk a lot it means he's not interested, not interested, totally uninterested.
You say you "think" he likes you. If he actually likes you he will ask you out. It's insufficient for a relationship to barely make connections with the guy. If he doesn't ask you out you have an option: ASK YOURSELF OUT. No joke. What does this guy have that you're missing in your self ? Make yourself into the person you would be if he were your friend by reading, developing skills, hobbies, friends (that you're not desperate for) that you want to connect to for good reasons. Once you are the person you seek you will meet that person and it might not be the one you're asking about in this message because after rescuing yourself and making your interests and thinking more dynamic, you'll be far above the level of who you and he are at this moment.

Many ways to evolve on your own and THEN CONNECT.
And happily enough, he may do the asking.
Meanwhile proceed on your journey without asking one who by his peripheral connection to you has already given a negative answer.

His NEGATIVE doesn't make you unacceptable. It is merely a detour sign that says take another road to reach your destination.
