I usually get waves by putting my hair in rollers and blow drying it, or you could leave it overnight. It works for me!!! just spray a bit of hair spray to hold it!!

Wash your hair and let it dry until it's damp (towel drying is the easiest way to achieve this.) Then add a little mousse, and braid your hair in a braid (french might make it look funny, a normal braid is good enough for simple body waves. For more wave, divide your hair into two or three braids.) Tie at the ends and put a little more mousse over the braids.
Let them dry over night. When you wake up, make sure they are dry, if not, you can blow dry them for a few minutes.
Once dry, un-do the braids. Scrunch some more with a little more mousse, and you have your waves.
This works really well for people who don't have much wave but have body in their hair.

If you have really flat, straight hair, the only real way to get and keep waves all day is to get a body perm from a salon.

ok. 1) yes it works
2) you don't have to know a french braid, you could just do a regular braid.
3)the less amount of braids and tightness the looser the waves. the more braids and tighter the braids and equals curlier more wavy.
4) i usually don't, but you could use a mousse or lt. gel. i usually wait till the morning when i take them out and spritz with a little hairspray.
PS most important! when you wash your hair the night before you must let it dry a little, it must be damp...not soaked! otherwise it will still be wet/damp in the morning and waves will not look right and start to fall out the minute u take the braids out.
OH... and if you don't know how to braid, you can always twist hair till it coils, then pin it or rubber band it to head a few of those also makes hair wavy but with a more natural wave. And... i curl the ends with a curling iron, the fat one, since the ends are straight.

I constantly wave, if the possibility offers itself. I trip a sportbike. I might particularly care much less if you're on a Harley, one more style of cruiser or sportbike. It is all approximately the enjoyment of driving. The wind the drive of nature that you simply wrestle whenever you force. It may be approximately the appreciate for all of in the market that must wrestle the IDIOTS at the avenue. That is going for 18 wheelers, vans that suppose they are able to run you over, vehicles that experience drivers on mobile telephones and do not appear wherein they're going...and in addition for the squids = the bikers that do not put on a helmet however look to consider they're indistructable. Every time you get off your motorbike and also you in a single peice this can be a blessing to God. Mostly wave for appreciate of you fellow rider. If you would not have the courtesy to exhibit appreciate then might be you must be taught a few. Just a couple of ideas from a fellow rider - been driving practically nine yrs now.

There is a really great product called white sands. On clean damp hair, spray throughout. I don't recommend braiding, for the pieces that need to be picked up to drag across will remain straight. I suggest either plates all over or rag the hair. Ragging is when you wrap small sections around material and tie in Knots. allow the hair to dry fully before taking out. even leave overnight if you can.

I have never found the braiding method to work well. The ends are usually straight and there are kinks all over the place. Usually I use a diffuser attachement on the blow dryer and using a light gel or mouse "scrunch" the hair while drying. Spray with hairspray to finish.
Or, after hair is dry put in some velcro rollers and blow dry till warm, hairspray and let cool. unroll gently and toss lightly, spray again.

I love making my hair wavy so what I do is first I either sleep with it in a braid, then put the braid into a bun and take it out in the morning. Another thing I do is shower in the morning then scrunch it while blow-drying it and it ends up looking pretty cool... I use this leave-in mouse/leave in conditioner by Aussie that I LOVE. Hope I helped!

I normally use large size rollers in damp hair with setting lotion,
that is a good way of creating waves and volume in your hair

After taking rollers out when dry use your fingers to seperate the curls or ligthly brush into place before using hairspray to keep in place

Best with rollers in damp hair with some setting lotion, leave to air dry, sleep in them or use a hooded dryer, remove rollers when dry and either curls or waves depending upon size of rollers that you use and length of your hair
