I have always heard that also. I used to mix a raw egg in my dogs dry food. She did have a beautiful coat but I don't know if this was due to the raw egg.

False! I can tell you it will give your dog disgusting gas though!

If you want good skin and a shinny coat give your dog omega 3 and 6 fatty acids in the form of cold water fish oil mixed with his food or simply pick up a can of sardines and give your dog 1 a week or so.

the extra oil and vitamins in egg yolk are good for dog, but the raw egg whites contain an enzyme that negates good effects of the yolk and raw eggs can conatin salmonella so always cook the eggs or just add a Tablespoon of CORN oil to the their food.

It's VERY TRUE. It works on cats too. Give them a raw egg, or mix one in with their food. You won't believe how shiny and soft their fur will soon be.

Our vet told us to cook the egg. Dogs are as susceptible to bacteria as humans.

I would ask your veterinarian. I work in a vet clinic, and i have never heard this. I have never heard that is was bad either, but i would ask your vet just to be sure.

Yes, it is good. It also helps "clean" their bowel from the hair they swallow when grooming.
