What would you do? If you saw a meek person that was innocent getting hurt, would you help them? Would it hurt your feelings?
Would you walk away and blind yourself to the goings on?

all the answers so far are generous in nature, but as an officer of the law if there was corruption there would be a way to take it through channels and help the victim in someway to make the difference in our society right? There must be a way to change the corruption no matter how long it takes right?

It is interesting that most replies said that they would help without knowing the circumstances of the incident. This indicates a large degree of immaturity. Only the first reply was logical.
As an ex police officer, I have seen numerous incidents (usually perpetrated by members of the police) and I have been absolutely powerless to help. I am not proud of not helping, but to have done so would just have made matters worse for the victim and for me.

Unfortunately for me, I tend to act first and think later, so I'd probably try to help and end up getting hurt. All in all, we have to live with ourselves and you gotta wonder if you could live with yourself if you didn't act.

omg I would definitley help a person who was getting hurt!! I could not in all honesty,walk away from someone who was being hurt...it wouldnt feel right!!

It would enrage me. but I would have to weigh the cost of my actions. In my life, I've learned that morality tends to be a luxury of the powerful. Or at least those that can defend what they have.

Walking away would not be an option. I would have to do something about it, yeah, that's for sure.
