I from history. I would say Christianity.
They did kill quiet alot of witches / pagans and just normal every day people, in the name of there religion. As quoted from one of the books - Burn them all, God will know his own.

I think thats pretty shocking if you were a witch or not.
The Fear itself would be overwhelming..
Not to step a foot wrong anywhere. Just in case you got the tag. (witch ) - burn her.

I feel thats also why today people seem a little set back when you here people calling themselves Christian Witches.
As in the name of god they killed the witches.

This is the best known (i.e., the most infamous) of the witch-hunt manuals. Written in Latin, the Malleus was first submitted to the University of Cologne on May 9th, 1487.

The title is translated as "The Hammer of Witches". Written by James Sprenger and Henry Kramer (of which little is known), the Malleus remained in use for three hundred years. It had tremendous influence in the witch trials in England and on the continent.

Anyone today overtly making a show of being religious is in fact an apostate. Do this; in your search window, type in ' define ' then the word
' apostate. ' All religions have an authority. The Muslims use the Khoran, the Christians use The Bible. You'd have to consult every scripture dealing with the end to arrive at a conclusion. It would have to be a King James Version using a concordance like:

I think a good example is in the movie "Saved!" A popular girl who is looked up to as the lead "Christian" has been fed the popularity high for so long that she long forgot what "the love of Christ" really means and has turned malicious and bitter. She's not the main character but has a lot to do with the story.

Osamah bin Ladin, is the most current example. This is going to take some explaining, and in interests of brevity, I'm going to have to ask you to take a lot of what I say here on faith. Here goes.....

First, it is a sin for Muslim ( the nice people that worship Allah ) to run from an evil aggressor. They must stand up against it as long as it is in defense of their homes.

With that in mind, Osama bin Ladin attacked the USA, and hid in a country full of Muslims. Taking advantage of their faith to save his own skin. Now, the USA can't have a terrorist constantly attacking it's people so, they have to send in troops to get this guy out. Asama paints the US invasion as a direct attack against them, not and extradition to get Osamah.

So, in effect, he has manipulated the Muslim faith to allow him to murder innocent people, something that the Muslim faith is very much against.

I'm sure there are more, but this is the one that comes to mind. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

I would say ALL the politicians that use religion to get votes.

How about used car dealers? Every one of them show up for Sunday service. Anybody ever hear of a used car dealer that WASN’T a member of a church?

And don’t forget Jim Baker and Tami Fe, living so well off the money poor elderly sent in.

For me, and this is me, evangelicals. I'm sorry. I respect the fact that it's their belief that their religion is correct but just the same my own faith is correct only for me. For a people to come to people and through conversion think that are doing G-D's will and hastening the coming on the messiah is wrong, intolerant and blatant stupidity. Their have been people who have exploited Evangelism from the faithful for financial gain. I do not wish to express and specific names as to avoid a confrontation. Good luck on your report.

Pat Robertson. If there ever was a person who fit the description of the Biblical Pharisee, it's that man.
