I'm very shy, how do i compliment a girl's dress when going to a formal dance?

As i said i'm shy. I tend to get lost for words when i compliment girls. I just don't know how to compliment them bcos wen i do, i sound very nervous (even when i'm extremely serious) and i think that she won't take it seriously. How should i praise a girl for dressing up really well for this dance (not just saying things like "you look nice")? How can i both be honest and compliment her in a unique way?

don't be shy.. :) a woman will always be flattered by a compliment.. but u have to be Firm and Confident, or she may not believe it!! haha.. that's why it's so important for u to take some time out to work on yourself, on ur confidence :).

if she is ur date, u should say, "Wow you look really beautiful", u can compliment her hair, or specifics like her eyes, or that she looks really pretty in that color. look her in the eye when u say it, and smile a lot. she will probably be shy too, but feel really good about it. or u can joke and say "wow, we need to go out more often!" or "we should go out more so you can wear that dress again" good luck!

There's a line between a compliment of a dress and a gay remark about the style, cut, etc of the dress. You want to avoid the latter. Here's what to do. Look the girl in the eye, smile with adoration/admiration-- let her know that you're looking her UP and DOWN-- translates into CHECKING HER OUT-- girls are clairvoyant and can sense this... so be careful. You DO want her to think you're checkin' her out. After a few seconds of this, look at her, grin, and say "Wow." *pause here* "Wow... you look amazing..."

Any girl will melt. No joke. But if you're really very very shy... this may take some practice. Do it in front of a mirror. Most of all, relax and be yourself! Girls LOVE shy guys... not ones that always seem to be hitting on people... Trust me. I am pretty outgoing and loud but my boyfriend is the shyest guy I have ever met. well .when u see her remember that the first impression she sees u have is the most crucial part she will be expecting a reaction so a gasp if it is really hot is good and girls dont wanna look nice or sweet or pretty or cute tell her thst she looks soo hot or if hot isnt ur thing tell her that she is absolutley gorgeous and that trust me no matter how stupid u think u sound we love compliments
