but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD.

Amen! I pray that I won't stop boasting in the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter how unpopular He is today. God Bless You.

I do boast and yet I do not. I say that, because many people interpret boast in the wrong way. They go out and tell others that either they must change or go to hell. They tell others that Jesus is the only way.

The problem is that many people do not want to be told that they are wrong and they will not listen. They find Christians to be pushy and bull headed for making such statements.

On the other hand, I boast by telling them about God's love and that while Jesus died for our sins our Jewish friends are going to go to heaven too. I tell them that our Muslim friends will go to heaven because even if they see God differently than we do they still see God.

Do I boast? Yes! I just boast about God's love of all people.

Take care,
Troy

What human being in Jeremiah is claiming that what he says was declared by the Lord. We all know he made it up himself and that the Lord had nothing to do with it.

Yes in the way that He does all for me. I cannot do what is right by myself. Without Him I'm lost. With my faith put in Him I have reason to be joyful in all things, including my pains and as well as a future of eternal joy in His Father's house.
