Jews believe in an absolute, indivisible God, Yahweh, which makes it without a doubt a monotheistic faith.
Christians, however, generally believe that God is a Trinity impersonated in the form of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (which used to be the Holy Ghost).

As for Jesus, Christians believe Jesus was and is the Messiah mentioned in the Bible; Jews believe he is not and still await a future messiah.

Jews believe that to attain salvation they must obey the commands of God and live ethically, focusing more on this life than the afterlife.
Christians believe that salvation is through faith in Christ and, for some, sacraments and good works.

Jews, historically, does not emphasize the afterlife. Beliefs vary from no afterlife to shadowy existence to the World to Come (similar to heaven).
Christians believe that all who perish will be resurrected in either the eternal heaven or hell (or temporary purgatory).

Jews still observe the Noahide & Mosaic Law as stated in the Bible; consumption of kosher food, circumcision, synagogue services on Saturday...
Christians however abandoned most of this as dictated by St. Paul in one of his letters in the New Testament.

The most major difference is that Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah promised to them by God. They believe he was a prophet, but he was neither the messiah nor the son of God.

You'll notice that Jews obey many of the old testament laws that Christians do not. Eating pork and shellfish, for example. Christians believe that Jesus fulfilled the old laws and came to give mankind a new set of rules. Jews do not believe this, therefore many of them keep with the old testament rules.

Basically, People who practice Judaism believe that a messiah will come, but has not come yet. Christians believe that Jesus is the messiah the Jews wait for. As a matter of fact, Christianity was a Jewish sect originally, and didn't split until a large number of gentiles started participating.

Jews believe that God is all powerful, all knowing, and has not yet revealed or sent the messiah to save the world.

Christians believe that God is all powerful, all knowing and sent his son Jesus (God made flesh) as the messiah to save the world.

The Jewish people believe that they must atone for their sins every passover (once a year) and start fresh according to the Torah laws

Christians believe that Jesus sacrificed himself as the perfect pure lamb to atone for the world's sins once and for all.

The Jewish people live by the law of Torah - the 1st 5 books of the bible

Christians also follow these teachings, but because Jesus paid the price for our sins, and rose from the dead, that he fulfilled all the prophesies of the Old Testament.

Hope this is helpful, I'm sure the bible scholars out there will have lots to add and /or correct from the above.

While we believe in THE Messiah, many of them have totally given up their search for him, and twist their own scriptures to say all the Messianic prophecies were just prophecies about Israel the land. Most Orthodox Jews aren't even orthodox by Old Testament standards.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah that was talked about and prophesied in the Old Testament.

Jews don't believe Jesus was the Messiah and are still waiting for him.

Jews believe that there's a God and that's it. Christians believe that God had a son that came to die on the cross and take away our sins so we might go to heaven.
