You just have to practice. Start spending a certain amount of time every day copying paragraphs from a book. Take frequent breaks while doing so. When using the computer, use your left hand for the mouse. Practice throwing darts with your left hand (you can get a dart board for really cheap at Wal-Mart and places like that). Brush your hair using only your left hand. Draw pictures with your left hand. These are the things that helped me. I can now write, play sports, and draw with both hands, although my right hand is still stronger, since I only started practicing about a year ago. It takes a lot of time, so don't give up!

practice pratice pratice. I'm right handed too but every now and then i try to swith to my left and stick with it for the rest of the day. I then try other things left handed like playing hockey left handed. I noticed an improvement in my left handed writing after 2 months.

Usually you are hand dominant because you are eye dominant..in other words your right eye sees better than your left so you are right handed..and often when you try to change that you get headaches.....so you may want to consider that..
But if you are determined to become ambidextrous, do you remember practising your writing when you were a little kid? Start with crayons, which gives you a chance to do the bigger motor skills...then you can move onto a pencil and start practising the alphabet and the finer motor skills.
Thinking from the right side of your brain may open new worlds of creativity to you. Good luck!!

Being right handed from birth, I lost the use of my dominant hand a couple of years ago. All I can say is practice, practice, and practice. I have tried alot of different things but the most useful for me is practicing my alphabet in cursive over and over.

I can write with both. I think I'm naturally left handed, and I prefer my left hand, but my granmother thought it was evil and forced my to write with my right hand. So I'm ambidextrous

Try tracing your own handwriting (right handed) with your left hand.

To be ambidextrous you need to practice constantly but it will happen with persistence and patience... good luck.
