Just dont eat it. Its only up to you. I know sometimes its hard to stop but you just have to find the will power. And tell yourself that you can do it!

I have a sweet tooth too. When I get the craving for something sweet, I have an apple and some flavored yogurt. It does the trick for me. Do drink water with meals, try drinking a glass before you eat a meal, this will help you eat less, and of course eat slower at meal times. When you dont feel hungry anymore just stop or when you feel like youre getting full. Wait 20 minutes, then if you feel hungry, have some fruit or something. 20 minutes is the time it takes your brain to get the signal that you have eaten and really are full.

Until you decide to stop it is a very hard thing to do. I have always been a person who loves to snack on all the wrong types of things. I decided that whenever I want to have a snack I will do something else instead. Like have a drink of water or some other thing. I find I snack the most when I am not doing anything. I will clean the kitchen, sew somehting, read a bit of a book., or whatever. I find it the hardest not to snack at work. Decide you arn't going to do it anymore and decide on something you will do instead when you get the munchies. The instead thing does not have to be food. Good luck!

First don't buy any of that food. If you cannot control your food intake, maybe you can control your spending habits and money. If you turn it into a financial matter, you might not be crippled by your inability to deal with food-intake issues. So... when you go shopping, prepare a shopping list and make the issue about what you are going to spend money on, and what foods you'd be throwing money away on. Think of it this way, you are either going to pay to make yourself the way you want to be, or continue throwing you money towards making you fatter and less happy. If you can make that conscious decision to not waste one penny on something that will shorten your life, you may be able to get this under control. I understand it's hard to control the eating issue for you, so change the issue at hand. This way, you can prevent yourself from cheating... you can't eat bad food because you won't allow yourself to buy it. Transfer the guilt of eating into guilt of spending on products that will put you in an early grave. This will be more productive than the destructive path you are on. Good luck.

Try these tips;
1. Concentrate to the food you are eating. Don't eat during watching Tv, reading or studying. These would make you eat more than usual.
2. Eat in a small plate.
3. Take your foods away from TV. Removes all the foods to the kitchen. It will make you feel lazy to take it from there.
4. Brush your teeth and your tongue. Making this will reduce your desire to chew.
5. Avoid taking food that kept in the bottle or jug. You will not realize how much you have taken. Pick up a handful of it and put in a small plate.
6. Cut your favorite fruits into a cute slices to replace unhealthy snack.

YOU should cut out or limit white flour/ sugar because it causes hunger. Eat six small meals a day higher in protein and start drinking 8 glasses of water or decaf tea. Keep active, stay busy, go out, find hobbies. Try to look at why your over eating. Are you stressed, bored, tired, or angry then find something that drives or motivates you. Its mind over matter. Where there is a will there is a way.

yeah im the same way. just try to have maybe a couple small snacks a day so that way you don't feel super hungry when it's meal time. snack on fruit & avoid going out to eat because that always leads to overeating. oOo and its good u exercise, running is the best way to slim down so try that if you don't already :) good luck!

You might be an emotional eater. Keep in mind the following:
Diets and changing your eating to healthy food choices can work but because we know so little about ourselves and our relationship with food, it makes it difficult to win the battle. A lot of us have problems with dieting because we have a problem called "emotional eating" we eat to comfort ourselves during difficult, stressful, sad, etc times in our lives.
You may experience all those emotions during dieting as we continuously get on the scale hoping to see a big difference in numbers after dieting only for a day or two. Also what is stressful when dieting is that we try to lose a large number of weight in such a short period of time which in most cases is unreasonable.
This all brings about stress, discomfort and sadness. When we feel this way, we turn to our best friend for help and support which for many of us is food. The diet is now broken and we feel that we can't stick to diets. We then try fad diet after fad diet hoping to lose the original 20 pounds and now we may have as much as 30 pounds to lose because we continue to put on weight as we continue to break these fad diets by binging before starting our next diet.
Please learn about your relationship with food before your next diet so that you may achieve your goals. To help a little, keep in mind the following:
You already know how to lose weight. You know that if you eat less and exercise more eventually you’ll see the pounds come off. What’s getting in your way? Why do you usually regain the weight you lost? The answer to all these questions is the same “Emotional Eating.” Simply defined, emotional eating means you eat to satisfy emotional hunger; it means you use food for comfort or as a way to cope with life; and it means you eat for reasons other than what your body needs. Whenever you reach for a boredom-breaking snack despite your commitment, or whenever you eat to quell anxiety, that’s emotional eating. Whenever you binge after a fight, or double up on portions because your day turned sour, that’s emotional eating. Whenever you feel that sharp craving for your favorite food, that’s emotional eating. When we eat during these times while on a diet, we believe the diet doesn’t work or that we lack self control and then look for the quickest way to lose weight (fasting/diet pills, ect) after eating all we can since we already messed the diet day up. Read the information below but remember that emotional eating plays a big part in why we don’t continue dieting and why we regain lost weight and why we binge today and start a new diet tomorrow. Best of Luck.
P.S. After learning about my relationship with food, I was able to drop my weight from 263 pounds down to 151 pounds which is a 112 pound weight lost.

Change your focus, hook up with supportive friends and walk with them in a fast walk pace, 20 minutes a day, follow up with new adventure and get involved with doing something that is fun!
Add a dance routine with all your favourite tunes, something that's perky and cheery. Find your passion in hobbies, and hook up with those who have similarities in that. Share your interest/s and build from there. Hope that's helpful, good luck!
