No. When my daughter and I flew back from Florida we got stuck in Montreal for the night because of poor weather causing us to miss our connecting flight home. She called up a hotel and made reservations and then we got on the shuttle and went there. She was only 13 at the time and was amazing at taking care of things when I was distressed and suffering from airplane ears. The last place we wanted to spend the night was at the airport. We got home the next day on Christmas Eve.

I've done it for shorter overnight layovers. The announcement about keeping control of your luggage comes on every 5 or 10 minutes, just as I was starting to doze. It is REALLY cold. Fort Lauderdale had nice couches, but most of them were already taken the time I tried finding one. In Miami I had to sleep on the floor. I've done it 3 times and I would still do it again.

I have slept in airports before but prefer to stay at home and get a cab there or stay in a cheap hotel. I have added a link to a website about people that sleep in airports and give their reviews.

Depends. If it was a short layover (less than 5 hours) the answer is yes. But with a 15 hour layover I don't think so.

Sure thing!
As long as I had a pillow and blanket, which I most likely would have if I were traveling on a plane.

No way. I'd want the comfort of a bed and also a shower in the morning.
