Many escort services exist so that men ( or women) can have a "date" or, to reuse the same word, "escort" to a party or social, generally of a high class, or business sort. Their purpose is to cause the person who hired them to appear... better to those around him or her.

Depends on what service you use. Each has it's own rules, and different girls within each company, have a list of things they will or will not perform. I wouldn't suggest using one for sex, good way to pick up something nasty. ( condoms are not 100% effective).
