It depends on the brand of saddle.
Some start about $250 or so but they are not a high quality saddle and really only suitable for someone who does not use it much and not everyday.
The better ones go around $1000 or more. Those are very nice well built saddle that will hold up to hard use and will last years if taken care of.

Well, it depends not only on the brand, but also on what you'll be using it for. For an all-purpose saddle, I'd suggest a close-contact saddle. It allows you to feel the horse under you a little better. If you want a jumping saddle, then prices will change. Do you want a deep-seat saddle or a flat-seat? So many choices...but, to get a good one, I'd expect to spend at least $1500.

Depends on brand. Leather and fittings. Five hundred on up. Really inexpensive Argentine, three hundred fifty.

like some people have said it all depnds on the brand and what special qualities you need (for instance i need a long flap) But good places to look are ebay, statelinetack.com, doversaddlery.com, and equine.com!
