Tylenol #3 has 30 mg of codeine . #1's have 8mg so you may experience some sedation from the additional codeine. Some people find tylenol #3 hard on their stomach especially when they take it just before bed. The codeine can be very constipating so make sure you drink lots of fluids, and eat a diet that has a bit of extra fiber. You probably won't need to take them for very long if it was a simple extraction. Best of luck.

It will help the tooth and you shouldn't have much side effects. I usually try to eat some applesauce before you take it. That way you stomach won't be empty. I also had a tooth surgically removed today. they had to put me on vicodin for pain. It was way too strong thou. Tylenol 3 is milder and it helps

make you a good deal more sedated than the 1's, with 3 times the codiene in them as the 1's. Be sure to drink alot more water, so you do not get constipated. Avoid driving while take the 3's.
