Not much you can do. You have to let him figure this out on his own. Someday he'll see what she's really like.

You can't. You can just say that his girlfriend has changed him so much, you don't think you can remain his friend because he's not the same person. Tell him good luck and drop out of his life.
And for Christmas, get him a copy of "Ten Stupid Things Men Do To Mess Up Their Lives."

u can't force anyone to do anything they don't want. trust me i know! i have similar situation.. my friend has been brought down to nothing by her horrible boyfriend.... and we ALL tell her she can do better, he's ruining her life, blah blah..she got kicked out of her house, all her friends got frustrated and ditched her, yadayadayada.... but she remains SOOO faithful to him! finally i just decided instead of trying to "Tell" her, or "Persuade" her verbally, i would ignore that , not talk too much about the relationship anymore, and just focus on HER. i noticed she was not happy w/ her looks (usually shy people who allow others to control them are unhappy about something). so i started encouraging her to come over and do makeovers, do her hair, etc. she is actually really pretty, and started realizing that she can look good. (her boyfriend forbid her to wear makeup, he's crazy!)... and we finally convinced her to go clubbing for the first time.

guess what happened.. she left a bit later than she thought, like 30 minutes, and he had a COW. he broke up w/ her on the phone, and had a huge fit. she then FINALLY realized that he treated her really badly, and gave her NO benefit of the doubt, even tho she has always put up w/ his sh**.

so moral of the story is, u have to help ur friend to make the OTHER things in his life positive.... and when he become stronger and more confident in himself, he will see what is "good" for him, and what is not. :) good luck~ u can do it.. i didn't know if it would work, but she is really showing a lot of courage and independence..very different than earlier in the year when i met her! :) i feel proud that she's learning it for her OWN strength...

good luck~

Are you just jealous that he has not been spending as much time with you? If he is happy, then leave them alone. He may think that she is changing him for the better. If they fight, they fight. It's part of relationships. Even if the relationship is not good for him, it is not your place to break them up. He needs to learn on his own.
