depends on whether they are theologians, diocesean priests, teachers, professors..... if you're thibkin those in the parish.... about $24K and they do have free room and board. however they do pay for health care, life insurance and other presonal items.

It varies from diocese to diocese. My priest brings home about $24k annually. That's less than I make at my factory job. By the way, this year he has forgone his annual raise because the parish is having financial difficulties. Even though his salary doesn't depend on the parish finances (he gets paid by the diocese), he is doing this in solidarity with his flock.

Depends on whether the parish is rich or poor. You would think it would be equal, but it is not. For the rich ones, what they get paid is far too much. For the poor ones, barely enough to get by.
