Please help "translate" these quotes. For example, help me understand what it means by explaining it in "today's English."

As dreams are made on and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep..."

1. Life is just a movie written by a cosmic playwright; we just play the parts set out for us. We don't control our destinies.

It's been quite a while since I read these stuff...but here's what I can remember....

1. "All the world's a stage..." - Life is just like a play. We go through the various stages of our life playing out our roles. The entrances refers to our birth and the exits refers to death...

2. "We are such stuff..." - Life is like a dream...in such a way that its flimsy and fragile. It can end any minute and yet most of us spend it in a trance-like state. Existing but not really living. We waste our time doing things without meaning....

3. "Why, then the world's mine oyster..." - This refers to the availing of the possibilities in this world...What the world has to offer. This is base on the idea that when you open an oyster you can find a pearl.

4. "Alas, poor Yorick!..." - This is some sort of meditation or reflection on how fragile life is.

5. "Not all that glitters..." - Things (or even people) are not always what they seem to be. So you need to look further and beyond the surface to see whether its really valuable or not.

6. "Nothing can come..." - Most of us complains about our situtation in life but then nothing will happen unless we take action.

7. "Though this be madness..." - There are times when one finds order in chaos. That only in the most bizzare situation do we find meaning. For instance we do not realize the value of life until we come close to dying.

8. "Cowards die many times..." - I think what this means is that when one is ruled by ones fear then they simply give up without trying.

That's the best I can come up with...hope I was able to help you out...
