A good Poo full of fibre will usually float. Equally a good poo full of protein will usually sink. Its the consistence, colour and smell that determines a good poo and a bad un'!
Does Diarrhoea float?!

All poo sinks. There is no such thing as floating poo. It's too heavy to float, plus it's not made to float.

It depends on what you've been eating, if you've eaten sponge cake, then it will probably float, whereas, if you eat anything that is heavier, it should sink like a lead submarine.

the medical name for poo is 'stools'
if your stools float all the time, make an appointment with your g.p. to examine/test you, to see if you are anaemic. especially if you feel tired all the time. (A simple blood test will show, if you are deficient in iron)

it should sink..if it is floating it shows that you are not digesting all stuff properly leading to excessive gas and fat in poo...

it should sink. because if it floats.it means you have to much fat in your diet.i known this because i have had lots of stools test.in the past.and what i have said is what the consultants have told me.
